Live rosin is made by pressing fresh-frozen cannabis with heat and pressure. No butane, no propane, no CO2 — just physical separation. “Cold-cured” means the pressed rosin is then cured at low temperature, which preserves the volatile terpenes that give a strain its actual smell and taste rather than cooking them off.

A disposable is a different object. It contains a lithium battery and electronics alongside the extract, so VAYU’s recommendation is to store disposables at normal room temperature, upright, away from direct sunlight, car dashboards, and any other heat source. Refrigerating or freezing a sealed electronic device invites condensation when it warms back up, and cold extract draws harder through a coil. Cool and dark is the goal — not cold.
Two practical notes: heat is the real enemy, so don’t leave a device in a hot car; and if a device has been somewhere cold, let it return to room temperature before using it.
How to Read the COA Before You Buy
A Certificate of Analysis is third-party lab documentation for a specific production batch. It is the only way to verify what’s in a disposable, and any brand that won’t show you one has told you something important.
What to look for:

Is a THCA Disposable Legal Where You Live?
Hemp-derived THCA products are federally compliant under the 2018 Farm Bill when they contain no more than 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight, but state law is what actually governs whether we can ship to you, and states differ sharply. There is also a federal change on the calendar. Section 781 of Public Law 119-37, signed in November 2025, replaces the delta-9-only test with a total-THC standard that counts THCA, and adds a 0.4 mg total-THC-per-container cap on finished consumable hemp products. It takes effect November 12, 2026. Senate appropriations text released on August 2, 2026 would narrow what the rule reaches until December 11, 2026 — applying it initially only to cannabinoids that cannot be naturally produced by the cannabis plant — but that text has not passed either chamber as of this writing, and it does not move the November 12 effective date.
